Made using British blackcurrants, our Ben Tirran Blackcurrant Preserve is bursting with a rich and tarty fruitiness.

Made with much more fruit and less sugar than a traditional jam. We love it in porridge!

About Single Variety Co

At Single Variety Co, we are passionate about creating a truly premium range of award-winning chilli jams and fruit preserves, making everything ourselves in our family run jam factory in Bristol. We use just one variety in each of our products - showcasing the unique flavour, colour and aroma of that single variety. Hence the name!

Ingredients

British blackcurrants, sugar, lemon juice. Prepared with 54g fruit per 100g, total sugars 52g per 100g.

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

Delicious sandwiched between shortbreads with buttercream.

I brought this jam for my husband and he is obsessed. He started eating it on toast but has now resorted to eating it straight from the jar. I would deff recommend stocking up!!

THE BEST!!!

This is, in all honesty, the BEST blackcurrant jam, I have ever tasted!! I adore Single Varieties more "exotic" fruit preserves, but this one,WOW! Ordinary and boring jam??? Absolutely NOT!!! Absolutely jam packed (sorry) with fruit! Just the thought of picking enough blackcurrants and then prepping them ..... well now I don't have to bother with all that and I'll hold my hand up, yours is way better!!!! Finally got to order the apricot too,as there was a problem last apricot season. I can't wait!!!!!!

Best Ever Jam

This jam tastes incredible! Juicy blackcurrants with the right amount of tartness and none of that overly sweet mass produced factory taste. Closest thing to homemade I’ve ever had. A firm favourite in our house. Just scrummy!

So Tasty

Way back I use to pick blackcurrants with my Gran and 'help' make her jam. This is the very best since then! Totally delicious and blackcurrants are so good for you.
