Rich, deeply fruity and wonderfully tart, our Ben Tirran Blackcurrant Preserve is one of the most intensely flavoured jars we make.
We use Ben Tirran blackcurrants: a British variety chosen for its bold, punchy flavour. With much less sugar than a traditional jam, the deep blackcurrant flavour takes centre stage, not to mention that the colour of this jam is deliciously dark. If you always find yourself playing it safe with strawberry and raspberry, let this be your sign to take a chance on blackcurrant!
Wonderful stirred into porridge, spooned over yoghurt, or spread thickly on hot buttered toast. Also rather good with a good sharp cheddar, if you haven't tried that yet.
Each jar contains 225g. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
