We use fresh juicy Amalfi lemons for this special marmalade. They’re large, very fragrant, a little sweet and a little sour – perfect for this award winning member of our marmalade family!

All the lemons are hand sliced to a medium shred and then cooked slowly to soften. We add the sugar then boil quickly until setting point is reached. We've opted for a traditional firm set for all you traditional marmalade fans. The flavour is of fresh lemons, bitter, and sweet, and we're really quite proud of this one.

Each jar contains 225g. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

About Single Variety Co

At Single Variety Co, we are passionate about creating a truly premium range of award-winning chilli jams and fruit preserves, making everything ourselves in our family run jam factory in Bristol. We use just one variety in each of our products - showcasing the unique flavour, colour and aroma of that single variety. Hence the name!

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

Underwhelmed

I've been itching to try this after reading all the fantastic reviews and the 'Best marmalade in the world' title.
I'm feeling underwhelmed to say the least. Its lemon marmalade...what can I say? There is nothing outstanding about this compared to any other brand I've tried. If anything it is too sweet for my liking.
Each to their own, but I would not buy again.

As a jam lover this has proved to be the best tasting jam I have eaten. It has a lower sugar level which makes the fruit pop out.

Best lemon marmalade

I don’t like marmalade, never have. I received a jar of this variety in a selection box and thought I would gift it to someone. The jar was opened when we had someone stay, they raved about. I hate waste so I tried it. I am converted, to this all single variety marmalade, I’ve tried them all now. I can now say I’m obsessed with the stuff!

The Single Variety Co Promise

Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home! Which is why we work closely with our local suppliers and take great pride in delivering to you the very best products we possibly can.
