What to Eat With Chilli Jam: 8 of Our Favourite Ways to Use It

Whether you're new to chilli jam, fresh jar in hand, pondering what to do with it, or you're a chilli jam fanatic looking for some spicy new ideas — we're here to tell you... it works on pretty much everything! Here are eight of our favourite ways to use it.

1. On a cheeseboard

The classic, and for good reason. Chilli jam works brilliantly alongside strong cheddar, brie and creamy blue cheeses. The sweetness cuts through the fat, the heat wakes everything up.

2. As a glaze

Brush it onto chicken, salmon or halloumi before roasting or grilling. It caramelises beautifully and adds a sweet heat that works with almost any protein. Try our Lemon Drop Spicy Salmon for an easy dinner with lots of flavour.

3. In a salad dressing

This one surprises people but it shouldn't. A spoonful of chilli jam loosened with a little olive oil and apple cider vinegar makes a brilliant dressing - sweet, sharp and with enough heat to make a simple salad interesting.

4. On a pizza

Drizzle it over the top once the pizza comes out of the oven, or use it as part of the base. It's especially good with cheese-heavy toppings where the heat and acidity cut through the richness.

5. In baking

Yes, really. Chilli jam works in savoury bakes like breads, buns, savoury pastries... the list goes on!

6. With eggs - any which way!
