Greengage Preserve

Old English Greengages are small, honeyed plums you won't often find in a supermarket punnet - ours come from Ben Swinley's 200-year-old orchard in Gloucestershire, farmed by his family since before 1567. Cooked down slowly with sugar and fresh lemon juice, it's a fruity, slightly tart preserve with flavours reminiscent of apple crumble.
