We have been fans of this chilli jam now for a couple of years but until now have always bought a few of the small ones at once, so the addition this new bigger size has been most welcome! It's a great product, consistency good and can't recommend it enough! Thanks!
Like many other people I finished a couple of small jars and decided to treat myself to the big size. It’s really delicious and brightens up my lunch!
We’ve tried many chilli jams in recent years and this is by far the best. Once you’ve bought this you will be ordering again for sure. My daughter loves it so much I treated her to the large jar, she was thrilled! Thank you Single Variety!
I've "upgraded" to the large jar of this super delicious and moreish chilli jam because I run out too quickly using it as my favourite topping on everything from sandwiches, salads and cheese & crackers to dips for finger foods like sausage rolls and spring rolls.
Just the right amount of heat for me and the consistency is just like jam, so you can add it to anything, like topping your cheese on crackers or cheese scones, without it "running off". I'd like to see the sugar content reduced a bit more, but other than that very happy to recommend this.
I have to say up front I love chillies, and in many different food varieties. I love the chilli jam with sausages, Mac 'n' cheese, cold ham & salads etc. But what really marks out this brand is how it tastes when cooked in sausage rolls. It just retains more flavour to give a noticeable bite. I cook batches of 60 at a time and despite using supermarket rolled pastry and some of cheapest sausage meat, I still have people clamouring for more. Other brands just didn't quite hit the mark. I know, because I tried them.
I wouldn't call it 'Fireflame Chilli' though, as I think it is gentle warmth. Perhaps that is just me .
Great product, I really do love it.
