Giant Seville Orange Marmalade
Tastes like homemade
Really disappointed with the large jar of Seville Orange Marmalade. Whilst the taste is good the consistency is too solid and I can only assume a batch that was overcooked.
My Mum used to make her own Seville Orange Marmalade - my sisters and I were brought up on it and my parents had it everyday on toast without fail, still their favourite breakfast. As they are now in their 80s and downsizing their home, it was time for Mum to let go of her preserving pan. For the last couple of year's they have been trying every marmalade they can to find the perfect replacement for Mum's - no joy until they came to stay with me in September where they tried Single Variety. They loved it and the whole jar disappeared within a few days - hence my purchase of the giant size for them to enjoy at home. Their search is now over - thank you Single Variety :)
Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home! Which is why we work closely with our local suppliers and take great pride in delivering to you the very best products we possibly can.
