Sweet & Sour Sauce with Golden Pineapple Preserve

This sauce is the perfect base to any quick stir fry. Simple fry off your meat or vegetables of choice before adding the sauce. Allow to gently simmer for just a couple of minutes for create a thick, glossy sauce, before you’re ready to serve.




150g Golden Pineapple Preserve

30g tamarind paste

1 tsp chilli sauce, we use sriracha

40g tomato ketchup

1 tsp light soy sauce



  1. Place all the ingredients in a bowl, and gently stir to form a thick sauce ready for cooking.
  2. Add to your stir fry at the end of cooking and allow to heat through for a couple of minutes before serving.
  3. Spoon into a sterilised jar and store in the fridge for up to 5 days if you wish to save the sauce for another day.
