The Alphonso Mango is rightfully known as the "King of Mangoes". Grown in India, they are only available for a short 6 week season each year. They are beautifully sweet and aromatic, with the fullest flavour of all the mango varieties.

Orange in colour and much juicier too. Imagine a cross between a peach, nectarine, apricot and melon with notes of honey and citrus, but even tastier!

We take fresh Alphonso Mangoes when they are in season, and cook them with sugar and fresh lemon juice for as short a time as possible. Once they're jarred then the fresh Alphonso flavour is preserved for years... but most people can't keep them that long without digging in!

We produce this preserve in April & May when the Alphonso is in season. We make as much as we can, but when it’s gone it’s gone until the next year, so stock up if you love it!

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

Mango perfection in a jar!

I am from Australia and have been missing the fabulous mango season since I migrated to the UK. The Alphonso Mango preserve is like eating fresh, sun ripened mangoes straight from the tree. Absolutely in love with it and so glad I bought the 6 pack! My husband is now placing bets to see if I can stretch out the 6 jars to last until the end of summer. It's great on everything but my favourite has to be swirled through my homemade vanilla ice cream with toasted coconut and macadamias.

I bought a jar of this preserve initially due to the cost and i hadnt blught anything frim the brand. I tried it a few weeks ago and the taste is incredible- exactly like eating an alphonso mango. I also loved that it wasnt too sweet either. Thats why i bought the pack of six as this is seasonal. Worth every penny!!!

Superb quality product. Consistency of a compote. Ideal for use with yoghurt or in a pavlova. Well packaged and prompt delivery, even though informed that it could be a few days late, due to demand.

Most delicious Mango Preserve

I am from India and miss eating delicious mangoes and mango products at this time of the year. I ordered the mango preserve (pack of 6), which honestly I think will be over in the next few weeks. It is honestly the best mango preserve I have had. You can eat it with anything - toast, yogurt, pancakes, in desserts.
