Apricot Preserve is our founder's favourite flavour. And it's always been the Bergeron variety for us... until now!

Having sold out of this year's production in a day and finding it impossible to source more of the Bergeron variety the search was on to find an apricot variety which will make just as delicious a jam.

When we found the Digat variety we thought it may be too good to be true- derived from the Bergeron variety but grown here in the UK in Kent. We immediately cooked a few test batches and were won over.

The Digat apricots are very similar to the Bergeron and cook down beautifully to create a soft set, flavoursome, fresh apricot jam. In our taste tests we've found it to be a little sweeter than the Bergeron Apricot Preserve. There are lots of apricot pieces in a loose set texture - perfect for spooning.

About Single Variety Co

At Single Variety Co, we are passionate about creating a truly premium range of award-winning chilli jams and fruit preserves, making everything ourselves in our family run jam factory in Bristol. We use just one variety in each of our products - showcasing the unique flavour, colour and aroma of that single variety. Hence the name!

Digat Apricots, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Natural Pectin. Prepared with 65g fruit per 100g, total sugars 50g per 100g

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

It was too runny - like a liquid. Flavour was amazing though

Great flavour

Deep apricot flavour with fruit . Slightly too runny for me but delicious poured on Greek yogurt by Tims .Dairy . Also had problems with handler

Apricot ( Digat ) Preserve

Delicious! Great on toast but also raises Greek yoghurt as a mid week dessert treat!
I found the sweetness just right! Not too sweet with plenty of juicy tang, but then I prefer less sugar in jams and preserves. Hence Single Variety are my go to!
Took advantage of the 10% deal so have plenty to last until Christmas morn!

Good quality product as usual, although i preferred their last apricot preserve, which was less sweet. Well packaged, which was essential, as it was out for delivery and delayed twice, before courier eventually delivered it as third attempt.
