At Single Variety Co, we are passionate about creating a truly premium range of award-winning chilli jams and fruit preserves, making everything ourselves in our family run jam factory in Bristol. We use just one variety in each of our products - showcasing the unique flavour, colour and aroma of that single variety. Hence the name!

Storage & Shelf Life

Our jams are made with a two year shelf life*. Once opened keep refrigerated and enjoy within 4 weeks.

Gamechanger!

I don’t know who left the lemon-drop chilli jam in the flat’s fridge, but I hate to see things unused. Not a fan of chilli, but always partial to lemon, I tried a half teaspoonful in my veggie stew. The effect was transforming - from a well-meaning sort of compost-y soup to a really tasty meal with a top note of lemon flavour ! A very small amount can make a big difference. You enjoy the food more and feel like a good cook.

Preserve & Marmalade 6 Jar Bundle

This was quickly packaged and sent and I received it, it looks fantastic and scrumptious and being British made with British contents makes it even better. I have also selected one of recipes to make and then I will select one of the jars to use with it. I also had another jar of another companies before I open one, hence choosing the recipe so its a good bake and quality preserve or marmalade, only then will I be able to give a full review. But by the service and the recipe so far, it will be a good one. The only problem will be the selection I make, but already I have an idea which one.

I got this very quickly & looks fantastic but I'm finishing another jar before I open one, recepies brilliant & know what I'll pick & then a jar to use with it which I'm really (really) looking forward to and fantastic service as well.

Wonderful variety box

I was introduced to these wonderful preserves when my son gave me a variety box for my birthday. My box had the Amalfi lemon marmalade, blackcurrant preserve, raspberry preserve, and Tahiti lime marmalade. All of these were absolutely delicious, the Tahiti lime in particular tickled my taste buds. My son further surprised me later on with a giant jar of this.

The Single Variety Co Promise

Nicola founded Single Variety Co from her kitchen table with the aim of creating a range of seriously delicious fruit preserves and chilli jams. She carefully selected the finest ingredients, British where possible, and packed each jar full of as much fruit as possible with much less sugar than traditional jams. These aims remain the same today in our little jam factory in Bristol - as if Nicola had made them from home!
